This individual must have experience working on large ground up multi-family projects $20M+ in size. Experience managing new apartment construction (from the ground-up) i.e. Garden style, podium wrap, or 3-5 story walkup.

Responsibilities:

Enforce corporate safety policies on the jobsite, providing key responsibility for safety compliance in the field. Implement proactive pre-task safety planning for all work activities. Supervise, coordinate and sequence contractors’ work. Monitor performance and coordinate work to maintain productivity of trades, ensuring adequate manpower for work in place. Develop and maintain complete and detailed project schedule and manage work in accordance with the schedule. Coordinate and track material deliveries. Develop site logistics plans for entire project to maximize productivity. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by enforcing contract requirements and limiting field changes. Assist with development of work scopes and front end documents. Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, Tenants, and Owners. Effective timely resolution of conflicts and disputes to minimize delays and claims

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience in the construction industry on multifamily projects greater than $15 Million Must have experience working on ground up new apartment construction projects Strong negotiation skills to resolve field issues with subcontractor, design team and/or owner Scheduling experience HIGHLY preferred
