Project Manager Job Description The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of steel construction projects. This includes coordinating with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills as well as expertise in steel construction and structural steel. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage steel construction projects from start to finish Coordinate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals and deadlines are met Create and maintain project timelines and budgets Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing solutions Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement process and efficiency enhancements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in steel construction Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Proficiency in project management software and tools Knowledge of safety and building codes and regulations Problem-solving and decision-making skills Team player with strong leadership qualities Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision PTO 401(k) + company match Profit Bonuses Disability Life Insurance FSA …and more!
