Position Overview We’re seeking a hands-on, driven Foreman or Superintendent to supervise crews on commercial fireproofing projects across the Southeast. This role is ideal for someone with spray fireproofing or commercial painting experience, who enjoys leading teams in the field and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. The position is based in Raleigh, NC, but requires frequent travel to projects in VA; TN and SC. What You’ll Do Lead and supervise 2-10 crews on commercial job sites (6-20 workers) Manage project scheduling, materials, equipment, and reporting Oversee application of spray-applied fireproofing and insulation products Maintain safety standards and quality control Communicate clearly with site leaders and operations team Perform light equipment troubleshooting (spray rigs, pumps, etc.) Mentor and train crew members on techniques and safety What We’re Looking For 5+ years in commercial construction, ideally with spray fireproofing or commercial painting Previous experience managing field crews Strong mechanical aptitude (knowledge of spray equipment a plus) Comfortable with dirty, hands-on work environments Proficient with iPads/tablets for job tracking and reporting Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills OSHA 10 certification (required or willing to obtain) Willing and able to travel extensively (up to 100%) Nice to Have Experience with intumescent coatings or spray foam insulation Background in scheduling, documentation, and managing materials Prior leadership roles in fireproofing, coatings, or insulation This Role Is NOT a Fit If You Are Uncomfortable with physical labor and rugged job sites A passive leader who prefers to observe rather than jump in Unable to travel regularly for extended periods Why Join Alpha?
