Foreman Skilled Trades Partners Somersworth, NH 03878 We are looking for experienced Foremen for a Heavy Civil Commercial Company in Newington NH. The Foreman directly manages the lead personnel/staff for each project they oversee. Projects are an hour from Nashua in both MA and NH. Pay $30-45 an hour Daily Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate field crews on heavy civil construction projects (e.g., earthwork, utilities, concrete, roadways, drainage). Enforce and promote a strong safety culture; conduct daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure construction aligns with project goals. Schedule work, assign tasks, and manage labor, equipment, and materials on-site. Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers. Track progress, document daily activities, and submit daily field reports. Assist with problem-solving and ensure timely resolution of field issues. Mentor and train crew members to enhance performance and safety awareness. Requirements 5+ years of supervisory experience in heavy civil construction (site development, utilities, excavation, etc.) In-depth knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, and procedures. Proven leadership and team management skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
