$57.2K – $72K a year 2 hours ago Qualifications OSHA 10 Mid-level 3 years OSHA 30 Boom lift Rigging Organizational skills Construction Scissor lift Full Job Description The Foreman will lead on-site teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of permanent theatrical rigging systems. This role requires both hands-on technical skills and the ability to manage site personnel, maintain job timelines, and act as the primary liaison between IWEISS project management and the installation crew.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and supervise crews on-site for demolition, construction, and installation of theatrical rigging systems Interpret drawings, specifications, and scope documents to plan and execute daily tasks Coordinate daily activities and delegate responsibilities to installers and labor teams Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA, ETCP, and applicable local building and safety codes Conduct on-site safety briefings and enforce safety policies at all times Monitor and maintain job site organization, cleanliness, and security Communicate regularly with IWEISS Project Managers regarding progress, issues, and required materials or support Assist with installation work as needed, including loading, unloading, assembly, and lifting Complete required documentation including daily reports, timesheets, safety checklists, and incident reports Represent IWEISS professionally when working at client sites and with external contractors
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in theatrical rigging or related construction fields Strong working knowledge of rigging systems, tools, and best practices Demonstrated ability to lead and manage field crews on construction sites Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, load charts, and installation documentation OSHA 10-hour Construction certification (OSHA 30 preferred) Ability to lift/push up to 65 lbs regularly Comfortable working at heights (including ladders, lifts, and catwalks) and in confined spaces Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to produce and maintain daily logs, punch lists, and field reports Professional demeanor with clients, colleagues, and venue staff Flexibility to travel and work nights or weekends as projects require
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
ETCP Certified Theatre Rigger (or commitment to pursue certification) Experience working in active construction environments with multiple trades on-site Familiarity with electrical distribution systems related to theatrical equipment Proficient in operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts (valid certifications a plus) Scaffold assembly and inspection certification Email Resume to:
