About the job Company Description Company has over 40 years of experience in building and renovating various types of facilities, including commercial, industrial, office, warehouse, retail, manufacturing, infrastructure, and education projects. The company offers diverse expertise in pre-planning, budgeting, design, value engineering, and vendor selection for conventional fast-track projects. We work mostly on private commercial and industrial projects. It’s important to understand the full sequence of ground-up construction to coordinate all trades effectively and stay on schedule and budget. We also do our own civil work, concrete, and masonry. Experience in any specific trade is a plus.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent (Commercial / Industrial private projects)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations on the job site, including field staff, subcontractors, and vendors Develop and manage work schedules and monitor project progress Collaborate with project managers and clients to align on timelines and budgets Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment Maintain a detailed daily job site log and report updates to management Hire and assign subcontractors as needed Review construction drawings and track revisions/addenda Ensure safety compliance and quality control on site Apply cost-effective and efficient project management techniques Communicate effectively via email and other platforms with internal teams and clients
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in construction site and project management Strong knowledge of construction safety standards Proficiency in budgeting, planning, and coordination Skilled in sequencing and oversight of subcontractor/vendor work Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet deadlines Computer literate and capable of professional written communication Reliable work history and solid professional references Practical judgment and situational awareness
