Construction Field Superintendent S&S Professional Services LP Cedar Knolls, NJ Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. Duties Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep the project on track. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting future costs. Review blueprints and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of designs. Utilize construction management software such as Prolog or ProCore for project tracking and documentation. Prepare construction estimates and assist in the bidding process for new projects. Train and supervise on-site staff to promote a safe and productive work environment. Skills Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to construction projects. Strong knowledge of pipeline construction processes and techniques. Familiarity with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Excellent blueprint reading skills for accurate interpretation of project plans. Experience with construction management software, particularly Prolog or ProCore. Ability to build effective teams through strong supervisory skills. Competence in construction estimating to provide accurate cost assessments for projects.
