Janitorial Area Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(This is not an all-inclusive list of duties) ? Manage budget andprogram ? Ensure all financial and quality performance for assignedarea ? Generate new/organic work and coordinate with corporatesales and field leadership ? Ensure all mandatory Quality Controlsite visits are completed and recorded ? Fill in for generalcleaners when necessary ? Coordinate all special and periodicprojects and ensure customer signoff, where needed ? Other dutiesas assigned Recruit and Train General Cleaners ? Recruit, hire,onboard, mentor, and evaluate general cleaners ? Coordinating withPeople Operations to ensure all employee issues are addressed ?Ensure all supplies and equipment are on site and serviceable ?Ensure all site level safety and Human Resource compliancematerials are posted ? Schedule all General Cleaners BuildOutstanding Customer Relationships ? Communicate regularly, inperson, with site level management

QUALIFICATIONS

? Carpet careand cleaning; stripping/cleaning/buffing of floor types; floor carechemicals; operation of floor care equipment ? Ability tounderstand and follow instructions, and take direction ?Thoroughness, dependability, tact and courtesy; ability to work ina team environment and exercise good judgment ? Experienceoverseeing 40 employees ? General knowledge of computer, includingthe internet, Outlook, Word, Excel and Google Suite ? Effectivecommunicator with customers, as well as with internal corporatepersonnel ? Organized, proven problem solving abilities, andability to multitask, and prioritize job responsibilities ? Abilityto work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, andholidays ? Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus, depending onaccount ? Two years Janitorial and Management experience required

LICENSURE

Must possess a valid state driver’s license in order tofulfill the duties of this position, as significant travel betweenaccounts are required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This job may requirelifting of objects that exceed 50 lbs., with frequent lifting andor carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Other physicaldemands that are required are, reaching, climbing, stooping and orkneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, writing andseeing.
