Multifamily Construction Superintendent Position Available In Union, New Jersey

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent tolead the ground-up construction of a $30 million midrisemultifamily project in Rahway, NJ. This is a pivotal,boots-on-the-ground leadership role with a highly respected NewJersey-based General Contractor with nearly 50 years of industryexcellence. Client Details Our client is a privately held, NewJersey-based General Contractor with close to five decades ofsuccess delivering high-quality multifamily, senior living,commercial, and institutional projects. Known for its stability,strong culture, and diverse pipeline, the company is trusted byboth developers and repeat clients throughout the region. With anexpanding portfolio, they are looking for long-term teammembers-not short-term job hoppers.

Description Site Supervision:

Serve as the on-site leader for a ground-up midrise multifamilyproject, from sitework through vertical construction to close-out.

Team Leadership:

Coordinate all phases of construction with projectmanagement, subcontractors, inspectors, and vendors.

ScheduleManagement:

Ensure schedule adherence, quality control, safetycompliance, and budget management.

Documentation:

Lead daily sitemeetings, maintain logs, and communicate progress to projectstakeholders.

Quality Control:

Problem-solve in real time and drivethe project forward with a proactive, hands-on approach. Profile Tothrive in this role, you must be someone who has: End-to-endexperience managing ground-up construction projects-includingsitework-not just interiors or fit-outs. Proven track record inmultifamily and/or senior living midrise projects (5-8 storiesideal). A grounded, team-first attitude with genuine interest injoining a company for the long haul, not just for a paycheck.

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, field operations,and sequencing. Excellent leadership and communication skills,capable of managing field crews and subcontractors effectively.
