Construction Project Manager – Self-Perform & Municipal Projects ????

Watervliet, NY About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex municipal, K-12, water/wastewater, and ground-up building projects. This role requires expertise in self-perform construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and seamless team coordination. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction to closeout. Oversee self-perform work, optimizing labor, equipment, and materials. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts. Ensure compliance with municipal regulations, permitting, and inspections. Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to keep projects on track. Lead team meetings, fostering collaboration and clear communication. Negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements. Enforce safety protocols, ensuring a secure work environment. What We’re Looking For ✅ 5+ years of project management experience with a self-performing contractor ✅ Proven experience managing municipal projects, K-12 schools, water/wastewater treatment, and ground-up construction ✅ Strong budgeting, scheduling, and leadership skills ✅ Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Primavera, etc.) ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required) ✅ Certifications like
PMP, CCM, OSHA 30
