The applicant shall demonstrate capacity to assess the structural integrity of residential units and have familiarity with the City of Albany Building Codes, requirements for historically sensitive properties and issues of environmental concern. OSHA, Lead-based safety training, desired. Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager for the rehabilitation of residential property. Strong knowledge of building trades professions and City of Albany Building Codes requirments. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively. Duties The Construction Project Manager (CPM) will collaborate with homeowners to identify the scope of work, and identify an estimated budget for their project. The CPM will facilitate the hire of appropriate contractors to perform the work and establish supervisor, quality assurance protocols to foster desired outcomes. Document efforts as required by the agency and specific funding sources. Perform administrative responsibilities related to assisgnment. Personal Qualities The Applicant must be a team player, comfortable working in inner-city neighborhoods and have the capacity to maintain trusted professional relationships with homeowners, contractors, and government agencies.
