Your new company Hays is partnering with a leading Civil and Utilities GC/CM in New York City, who is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. Your new role As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects related to utilities and civil infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets Overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success Managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and codes Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to senior management Managing project risks and resolving issues as they arise Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality What you’ll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field 5-10 years of experience in civil construction project management Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Experience working on construction projects in New York City is a plus What you’ll get in return Competitive compensation between $150k – $170k base salary, including health insurance, accrued vacation time, and a 401(k) plan.
