Superintendent of Construction Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent with 5-10 years of expertise in overseeing renovations on large-scale projects. This role involves managing a $30M-$35M interior renovation project at a preexisting medical campus, with a timeline of 12-18 months. Responsibilities Oversee all phases of the interior renovation project, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to optimize efficiency and maintain high-quality standards. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and local building codes. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to address design challenges and workflow adjustments. Develop and maintain construction schedules, tracking progress and identifying potential delays or issues. Lead and enforce strict safety protocols, conducting regular site safety meetings and inspections. Ensure proper documentation of all project activities, including daily reports, RFI responses, change orders, and material approvals. Foster communication and collaboration with college administrators to minimize disruptions to campus operations. Troubleshoot construction-related issues and implement solutions to keep the project moving forward.
