Job Title:

Superintendent of Construction Job Description + We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent with 5-10 years of expertise in overseeing renovations on large-scale projects. + This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and power systems within a construction environment Responsibilities + Oversee all phases of the interior renovation project, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. + Manage subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to optimize efficiency and maintain high-quality standards. + Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and local building codes. + Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to address design challenges and workflow adjustments. + Develop and maintain construction schedules, tracking progress and identifying potential delays or issues. + Lead and enforce strict safety protocols, conducting regular site safety meetings and inspections. + Ensure proper documentation of all project activities, including daily reports, RFI responses, change orders, and material approvals. + Foster communication and collaboration with college administrators to minimize disruptions to campus operations. + Troubleshoot construction-related issues and implement solutions to keep the project moving forward. Essential Skills + Construction management + OSHA 30 certification + General contractor experience + Construction supervision + Experience in renovations Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience as an overs representative during construction inspections + Strong leadership and communication skills + Problem-solving abilities + Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 – $60.00/hr.
