Full-time Plainview, NY Salary:

The ICF Site Supervisor is responsible for the direct oversight of the Citizens ICF. In this role, you will: Supervise the Assistant Site Supervisor and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), assigning responsibilities and specific activities to promote autonomy for each person supported. Instruct staff and people supported, and participate in household tasks (e.g., cleaning and cooking) to ensure appropriate nourishment and a clean, safe home environment. Ensure the residence is adequately staffed with trained and qualified personnel. Maintain weekly work schedules for all staff, assigning shifts based on availability and the individualized, person-centered needs of each person supported. Manage the bank accounts and expenditures of people supported on an ongoing basis. Provide or arrange transportation for people supported to attend activities and medical appointments, ensuring the safety and availability of agency vehicles. Ensure that all staff are trained on each person supported’s program plan and all required annual training, including but not limited to incident reporting, abuse prevention, SCIP, and CPR. Collaborate with each person supported’s designated day program through phone calls or scheduled meetings to ensure service integration and effective communication. Maintain accurate records of staff, documenting time, attendance, performance, deficiencies, supervisory sessions, and training needs. Perform the responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional when necessary. Ensure adherence to work-related safety procedures, and immediately report any unsafe acts or potentially hazardous work conditions to the supervisor.

Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities . Supervisory experience. Good verbal communication skills. Good organizational and administrative skills. AMAP certified and prior domestic household experience Physical Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of an adult/child participant.
