EN Job Summary:
The Operations Supervisor will provide hands-on leadership for technicians. They are responsible for building and strengthening each team member through proper training on repairs, reports, and customer service interactions. The Operations Supervisor will also be responsible for providing the Operations Manager with a daily detailed report on current project status as well as hosting daily/weekly field team meetings. This position is full-time, year-round work in the field, and must be willing to travel 100%.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Coach, mentor, motivate technicians, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Train all technicians on proper installation and repairs of each product prior to starting project and inspecting for quality control. Monitor weekly manpower schedules. Set expectations of daily productivity and quality on the job Review Safety Procedures and enforce standards. Utilize approved submittals, Spec-Data sheets, etc. to review the materials being installed. Drive performance so that each project is completed under budget and on schedule. Communicate and hit all project milestones, ensuring timely execution of projects according to plan. Completion of paperwork required on a typical project (i.e. electronic daily reports, safety toolbox talks, etc.) providing accurate documentation for customers code compliance. Collaborate with Sales and Operations Management in discussions to outline the scope of work including expectations and specifications. Proactively identify risks and issues and work to develop creative, client-centric, and cost-effective solutions. Document repairs that can’t be completed, obtain and record specifications for materials to be ordered. Provide guidance and coordination with multiple departments around approaches solutions, and best practices. Interact professionally using excellent communication skills with a diverse group of managers. Document specific project issues and resolutions for cumulative lessons learned. Assist in the development, documentation and communication of policies and standards. Maintaining strict accountability of all equipment and tools.
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
Thorough understanding of
NFPA 80, NFPA
105 and the IBC standards. Good record keeping and tracking of facilities repair work. Ability to interpret life safety drawings. Use common hand tools such as knives, scissors, saws, and staple guns. Properly maintain equipment and tools. Maintain professional, timely, communication with customers and coworkers. Professional presentation and verbal and written communication/instruction skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent collaboration skills both internally and externally. Self-starter, excellent listener and completes tasks independently and efficiently with limited direction. Strategic and critical thinking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines daily. Self-directed and an ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to handle stress and remain productive. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar. Ability to learn various software systems used throughout the company. Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Professional appearance and demeanor. OSHA 30, or must obtain within first 30 days.

Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver license. COVID vaccinations are not mandatory but preferred. Submit to TB test, vaccination blood tests & vaccinations (Flu, MMR, Varicella, etc.), and other mandatory vaccines.
