The ideal candidate will be responsible for Overseeing crews, laying out jobs, drawing jobs for engineers and must have an understanding of scaffolding systems that provide safe access for workers on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, quality control measures, and the ability to manage projects effectively. The Scaffold Builder will work closely with other construction professionals to ensure that all scaffolding meets industry standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Construct, assemble, and dismantle scaffolding systems based on project specifications and safety guidelines. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely completion of scaffolding tasks. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition. Implement quality control measures throughout the scaffolding process to meet project standards. Assist in project scheduling using software such as Primavera or HeavyBid to manage timelines effectively. Provide support in construction estimating by assessing material needs and labor requirements for scaffold projects. Skills Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Knowledge of contract requirements related to scaffolding projects. Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and tools. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control measures in construction practices.
