- Assistant Project Manager/Estimator (Queens) compensation: Competitive Salary based on experience employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Assistant Project Manager/Estimator Busy concrete and asphalt paving company seeking assistant project manager/estimator.
Job locations are based throughout the five boroughs.
Job Description:
- Review plans and specifications
- Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish
- Scheduling and cost tracking
- Quantity takeoffs and tracking
- Review plans for new projects and assemble labor, equipment and material costs
- Work under Professional Engineer. Work will count toward professional engineering licensure.

Qualifications:
- Civil engineering or construction management degree (required)
- Experience in the asphalt and/or concrete industry (Preferred) (Required if no degree)
- Proficiency in computers (required), Microsoft programs (required), Bluebeam (preferred), bidding software (preferred), AutoCAD (preferred)
- Self-motivated (required)
- Willing to learn (required)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Bi-lingual (preferred) Principals only.
