Construction Superintendent Alex Developers East Hampton, NY 11937 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our High-end residential projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of construction management software. Duties Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met. Utilize construction management software such as Procore to track project progress and manage resources effectively. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to project specifications. Prepare and maintain project schedules. Manage the logistics of materials and equipment on-site, ensuring timely delivery and proper usage. Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction. Foster a collaborative work environment by leading team meetings and facilitating communication among all stakeholders involved in the project. Qualifications Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations related to building projects. Proficiency in using construction management software including Bluebeam and Procore. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and team members. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. Have a post secondary education in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
