$150K-$180K We are seeking an experienced and driven Superintendent to join our team, overseeing the construction of large-scale institutional projects across Long Island and New York City. This role will involve managing high-profile developments including schools, hospitals , and other public facilities, with individual project sizes exceeding 100,000 square feet. As Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading all on-site construction activities from start to finish. You will ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has a proven track record delivering complex institutional builds and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day on-site operations for projects over 100,000 sq. ft.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet deadlines
• Enforce site safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain accurate project documentation and daily reports
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and drive progress
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on institutional projects
• Demonstrated experience managing ground-up school, hospital, or similar public sector builds
• Strong knowledge of New York City and Long Island building codes and OSHA safety regulations
• Proven ability to lead large teams on complex job sites
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
