We are looking for a Traveling Superintendent with 5 years ofexperience working for General Contractors and overseeing lightindustrial projects including Data Center, Manufacturing, andDistribution Center facilities. Client Details Our client is a Top ENR General Contractor and TopGreen Contractor with 40 years in business. They have a strongpresence in the U.S. with a revnue of over $300MM. Market sectorsincluding ground up and remodel for light industrial buildsincluding warehouses, distribution centers, mission critical, bigbox/tilt wall builds. Description Reviewing and verifyingconstructability of the plans and specifications. Creating andenforcing a construction schedule that is tracked and updated dailywith a constant monthly look ahead to ensure timely completion ofthe project. Initial project estimates and bidding and qualifyingsubcontractors Preparing scopes of work and recommendingsubcontractors to be selected for contracting on the constructionof the project. Sending out invitations to bid and managing thebidding process. Negotiating scopes of work and final contractamounts, preparing, estimating and verifying change order requestsResponding to RFI’s or submittals and responding to subcontractoror consultants project related questions. Directing and managingeach of the Superintendents and Project Engineers to maintain theperformance of subcontractors and consultants on-site.

Implementation of strict construction safety practices Verifycompliance with the plans and specifications, hosting weekly andmonthly jobsite meetings as well as managing and conducting otherduties necessary for the successful completion of the projects.

Review monthly subcontractor invoices Attend monthly budget drawmeetings, and cost to complete Responsible for the direction andperformance of consulting, design or construction managementservices for assigned project(s) of a nature greater in scope,valuation and complexity and with larger teams than those generallymanaged by the Project Manager Client relationship management,including creating a positive experience that will lead to futurework Profile Minimum 5 years of experience working with GeneralContractors Experience building light industrial structuresincluding data center/mission critical, warehouse, manufacturingComfortable leading $40MM size of projects Comfortable travelingacross the U.S. Bachelor’s degree Architecture, Engineering orConstruction Management, or equivalen preferably Excellentleadership, communication, and organizational skills Team-orientedindividual capable of leading and managing large teams includingsubcontractors Intermediate understanding of all core engineeringdisciplines, project execution, delivery in a design andconstruction Job Offer Base salary: $100,000 – $130,000 greatbenefits (Package is negotiable subject to experience) Per diemCompany vehicle Gas card Company cellphone and laptop Health,vision, dental insurance 401k Bonuses MPI does not discriminate onthe basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genderidentity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteranstatus, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in anygroup or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
