The Project Manager provides theoverall leadership for the execution of successful outcomes onCommercial Construction projects. The Project Manager leads theproject team with a focus on the customer, utilizing opencommunication, setting clear direction, and establishing highlevels of expectations. This position requires passion, dedication,and a strong sense of accountability with the ability to align withthe executive team to optimize growth potential and contribute tothe strategic objectives of the Company.
Project ManagerResponsibilities:
Collaborate with Estimating during thePreconstruction phase Read and Interpret Construction Plans andSpecifications Mentor less experienced Project Management staff onthe daily duties required to effectively manage a constructionproject Work with your Team’s existing Owners, Architects,Engineers, and Subcontractors to establish long-term relationshipsto identify and obtain future project opportunities Oversee theSubcontractor and Vendor procurement by supervising the completionof buyout, scope of work review, contract writing, insurance andbonding reviews, etc. Guide the research and recommendation ofresolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts anderrors Manage the Team that processes all Submittals, RFI’s, ChangeOrder Proposals, Owner Billings, Time Sheet Management,Subcontractor/Vendor Billings, Monthly Reports, etc. Ensure thepreparation of timely Owner Billings via the verification ofwork-in-place quantities/billings from Subcontractors and SuppliersVerify the production of accurate monthly cost projections whichforecast total estimated costs at completion Oversight of thecreation and monitoring of Project Schedules and production ofprogress updates Qualifications Bachelor’s degrees in ConstructionManagement, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
Applicants with relevant certifications or equivalent experiencewill also be considered 5 years experience managingcommercial/light industrial projects Broad knowledge of buildingsystems and construction methods Strong financial management skillsand the ability to independently manage all aspects of a projectfrom start to finish
