The Construction Superintendent oversees all aspects ofconstruction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time,and within budget. They are responsible for coordinating andmanaging all on-site activities, including scheduling, resourceallocation, subcontractor supervision, and quality control. TheConstruction Superintendent serves as the primary point of contactbetween and ensure effective communication throughout the projectlifecycle. Description This Superintendant will:

Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuringcompliance with safety protocols, building codes, and projectspecifications. Develop and maintain project schedules,coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timelycompletion of tasks and milestones. Oversee the procurement anddelivery of materials and equipment, monitoring inventory levelsand coordinating with suppliers to prevent delays. Conduct regularsite inspections to assess progress, quality, and safety,identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.

Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients,architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure alignment ofobjectives and effective resolution of any conflicts or challenges.

Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel, includingsubcontractors, foremen, and laborers, fostering a positive andproductive work environment. Prepare and maintain accurate projectdocumentation, including daily progress reports, meeting minutes,change orders, and as-built drawings. Monitor project budget andexpenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings andimplementing measures to prevent budget overruns. Implement andenforce project policies and procedures, including safetyprotocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations. Serveas a liaison between the construction team and projectstakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concernsor questions. Profile A successful Superintendent will have: Provenexperience as a construction superintendent or similar role, with atrack record of successfully managing large-scale constructionprojects. K-12 and/or higher education construction experience ispreferred Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, andmaterials, as well as building codes and regulations. Excellentleadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability toeffectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams andstakeholders. Solid organizational and time-management abilities,with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projectssimultaneously. Proficiency in construction management software,scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. OSHA certificationand other relevant safety training preferred. Valid driver’slicense and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
