The Assistant Superintendent fulfills their responsibility through daily attentive management and oversight of work as assigned by the Project Superintendent and General Superintendent. The Assistant Superintendent is expected to “know the job” inside out and know where to find information or details as required. Observing the Project Superintendent and how they react to project issues, how they plan, and how they organize are all crucial to learning and progressing to the role of Project Superintendent. What You Will Do:

As an Assistant Superintendent you will review project plans, specifications, and bids with estimating and assist in developing the construction schedule in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. You will also be responsible for managing subcontractors and construction site organization while maintaining daily and weekly scheduling of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

What You Bring:

1-3 years of exposure to construction management practices Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience using an ERP or a project management system like Viewpoint or Smartbid, Adobe Docs, AIA, BlueBeam, and document sharing programs like Box.com, Dropbox or Google Drive. Ability to drive schedule and subcontractors to meet or exceed key milestones during the project A positive attitude and an ability to always communicate with positive intent Why Quandel? Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
