job summary: A Construction EHS Manager is needed for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Marietta, PA area. This EHS Specialist role involves promoting compliance and continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety across pharmaceutical plant operations, requiring experience in audits, training, risk assessment, communication, and leadership, with strong knowledge of legal standards and GMP compliance.

Marietta, Pennsylvania job type: Contract salary: $46.19 – 64.20 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Apply the EHS Management System to ensure legal and corporate compliance through risk assessments and continuous improvement.
Foster a strong, proactive EHS culture to minimize injuries, health risks, and environmental impacts.
Provide technical guidance and training to support accident/incident prevention and conduct investigations when necessary.
Monitor and report EHS KPIs, plan and perform audits to evaluate and enhance the EHS Management System.
Provide daily EHS support and guidance to managers and staff, act as SME for agreed EHS topics.
Support the safe integration of new products, processes, and equipment through all project stages.
Track, analyze, and report KPIs and adverse events.
Identify trends in injury and near-miss data and produce site EHS performance reports.
Develop and support GEMBA and Level 1 audits, conduct Level 2 audits in accordance with audit schedules.
Identify CAPAs and prepare audit reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified EHS training from a recognized standard (preferred).Experience in a pharmaceutical plant EHS environment.
Experience with GEMBA walks, inspections, and audits.strong report writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in interpreting legislation, monitoring data, and risk assessment.
Skilled in leadership, influencing, teamwork, and ethical decision-making.
