Position Summary:

PNK Group is rapidly expanding and we’re currently seeking a Construction Coordinator to join our team and assist our Project Managers with planning our constructions project from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing accurate material take-offs, soliciting subcontractors, and analyzing quotes. This is an office-based role (in our new Wilkes Barre PA office!) that requires a high-level of self-motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints to create accurate take-offs for all materials needed to complete the construction project, and sending them to vendors for quotes. Subcontractor solicitation to accurately describe the scope of work to be performed, field questions from subcontractors and ensure availability to meet our production goals. Create reports and documentation to compile quotes and subcontractor pricing so the Project Manager and Stakeholders can make quick and educated decisions. Assist Superintendents by scheduling deliveries, office trailers, and other items as requested. Relay concerns to our engineering department (whether they come from our Superintendents on the construction sites or from our subcontractors).

Qualifications:

Degree in Construction Management/Engineering (or similar relevant experience) At least one year of proven experience in a similar role Construction estimating and bid analysis experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans Experience with Microsoft Office suite, and Bluebeam (or other estimating software)
