The Concrete Superintendent will oversee all aspects of concrete operations on construction sites, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines. The ideal candidate will manage teams effectively, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate concrete operations on-site, including pouring, setting, and finishing concrete structures.
Manage and schedule work crews, ensuring efficient utilization of labor and equipment.
Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to discuss project specifications and timelines.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols on-site, conducting safety meetings as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor expenses.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of concrete processes, materials, and equipment.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
