Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Site Director to oversee our before and after care programs. The Site Director will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team of staff and mentors, ensuring program quality, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all students. Must be able to reliably commute to West or North Philadelphia program sites. Position Begins 8/18/2025 Split shifts Preferred Monday through Friday, 6:45am-8:45am & 3:00pm•6:00pm

Friday Morning Shift :
6:45am•8:45am
Afternoon Shift:
3:00pm-6:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations for both before and after care sessions. Supervise and support lead teachers, mentors, and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery. Ensure implementation of robotics/STEM curriculum and enrichment activities with fidelity and creativity. Maintain clear and open communication with families, school partners, and organizational leadership. Monitor student attendance, behavior, and progress; handle incidents in alignment with safety and disciplinary protocols. Manage scheduling, supply inventory, and daily logistics to support smooth operations. Uphold a positive, professional, and inclusive culture among staff and students. Ensure full compliance with all safety regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or STEM-related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience working with youth, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with robotics, STEM education, or project-based learning is a plus. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass background checks and clearances (FBI, PA Child Abuse, PA State Police & NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry)
