Job Description
Founded in 2013, we are a leading construction company with licenses across the nation specializing in Debris Flow, Rockfall Mitigation, Slope Stabilization, Difficult Drilling, and more… We are actively seeking a Traveling Superintendent with drilling, rockfall, ground improvement, and/or specialty geotechnical construction experience to join our team today. This person will be expected to travel in the Eastern US (East of the Mississippi River) 3 weeks on, 1 week off. Because the role is salaried, you are still paid the off week at your base salary. This person will be working alongside a crew as its leader and will be responsible for the quality and production of projects. Responsibilities Leading and managing the on-site construction team Participate in the project management functions Schedule and monitor field productivity Attending meetings with Clients Have working knowledge of owner contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders Placing orders for materials and being responsible for equipment and materials on site Know the scheduled delivery dates for all critical path material and equipment Help with submittal process Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, daily progress photographs, field orders and RFIs Required 3+ years in geotechnical construction Experience as a Superintendent required Ability to interpret the scope, specification/blueprints, and timeliness of customer plans while meeting profitability goals established by the company Valid Driver’s License (valid Class A CDL preferred) Ability to travel with schedule flexibility Benefits Competitive Compensation Package Medical/Dental/Vision PTO + Holidays Annual Bonus Stock ownership program Veteran Hiring Program Employees are expected to work 3 weeks on, 1 week off.
