Overview Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Jobsite Coordinator to join our team. The Jobsite Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of roofing and siding projects, ensuring they are completed and to the required standards. The employee will act as a liaison between the roofing crew, the client, and the office, managing logistics, communication, and quality control. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a commitment to safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Be physically present on the job site daily to monitor progress, provide support to the installation crews, and ensure work is being performed according to specifications.
- Serve as a support point of contact for homeowners during the project, communicating updates to the office, and escalating issues as needed.
- Confirm the necessary materials and labor are available for each job, coordinate material deliveries, and manage equipment like waste trailers and roofing and siding equipment.
- Ensure the project adheres to contract requirements, manufacturer guidelines, local codes, and company safety policies.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, including photos, checklists, and reports.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns.
- Assist in warehouse duties including material inventory, vendor returns, stock levels and material organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Understanding of roofing and siding materials, installation techniques, and safety regulations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both the install crews, homeowners, office staff and management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to walk around the site to oversee operations and address issues.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures to access different areas of the site.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel in order to inspect equipment, check work progress, and perform other tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry and move materials, equipment, or tools, potentially lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to have finger dexterity for using computers, calculators, and other tools.
- Specific vision abilities, like close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, are often required.
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress, especially when dealing with deadlines and interruptions, is crucial.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, around moving equipment, and potentially in loud or hazardous environments.
