CONSTRUCTION SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Responsible for overall management direction and oversight of multiple construction projects from inception to completion, delivering the projects on-time and on-budget, while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Shoring/Deep foundation construction project experience Large “ground up” construction project experience Experience with construction projects over $10M Healthcare, Life Science, Academia, Commercial Retail and High-end Residential industry construction project experience Multi-family/Multi-story construction project experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Construction Initiate and maintain communication with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities Oversee and provide guidance on projects to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards based on contract specifications Determine constructability by comparing plans, specs, and drawings to identify discrepancies/gaps and issue RFIs to gather necessary information Collaborate with Project Superintendent to plan work and verify existing conditions for consistency with plan documents Spearhead internal project kick-off meetings Oversees schedule creation in collaboration with Project Manager and Superintendent – Bid Schedules Construction Operations Collaborate and communicate effectively with Project Manager and on-site Superintendent Monitor the project financial position, including change orders status, cash flow projections, monthly requisition and monthly project projections/Cost-to-Complete. Ensure that all change estimates and change orders are processed, and that contingency reporting reflects up-to-date project information. Ensure creation and issuance of monthly billings; following up with the client to ensure timely processing and payment

QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in the Construction industry, including project management 6+ years of experience managing construction project financial controls and project schedules Excellent project documentation skills.
