It was the only industry that flourishedduring the crash in ’08 because they are doing federal funded work.•Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48hours of application• Description The Superintendent is responsiblefor: Overseeing & managing Large Public Academic projects fromstart through completion, ensuring adherence to project schedules,budgets, and quality standards Developing and leading highperforming teams Providing administrative & technical support bydirecting the team Ensuring high-quality, safe, and clean work thatmeets projects schedules and budgets Coordinating & collaboratingwith necessary project parties Leading site personnel, providingguidance to ensure the highest levels of safety, productivity, andperformance Developing relationships with clients, and maintainingopen lines of communication Managing project documentation,including RFIs, change orders, daily logs, and progress reportsProactively identifying opportunities for improvement Establishingand maintaining excellent working relationships with allindividuals involved in the project Upholding company image /professionalism Profile The right candidate has the followingqualifications: 5 years experience as a Superintendent with a GCStrong background in ground-up commercial work along the lines of(Healthcare, public, K-12, Higher-Ed) Very comfortable runningprojects $15M-$60M start to finish Commutable to RI area Thoroughunderstanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications,construction means and method, materials, survey methods & overallconstruction planning and cost control Knowledge of constructionplanning and cost control Ability to implement Lean constructionprinciples OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred JobOffer The Superintendent will receive: Base salary up to $160KBonus Company truck / vehicle allowance Mileage reimbursementCompany phone & laptop Tons of room for growth & more!
