Thisindividual is skilled in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC,boilers, and general maintenance. Individuals must be ableto communicate effectively with a wide range of employees, sitestaff, residents, vendors, contractors, suppliers, and othersresponsible for servicing the company and property. Must beproficient with computers and be able to learn and effectivelyutilize various software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, ADP,Real page, and ePMX. Individuals should be service-minded and takepride in their work.
Job Functions:
Full-Time, Monday – Friday.
Responsible for inventory control and purchasing in conjunctionwith the manager. Meets and communicates with site managersregularly to update each other on on-site issues. Assumes on-callresponsibilities for emergencies, shared with others whereapplicable. Works with manager to coordinate contracts and overseecontractor activities. Responds to daily emergencies and routineservice work orders in a professional and timely manner. Maintainsthe appearance of the site by collecting and discarding refuse fromcommon areas and throughout the site daily. Performs preventativemaintenance schedule per site requirements.
Other Job Functions:
Maintains a clean and well-groomed appearance, and wearscompany-issued uniforms. Is courteous to residents at all times.
Requirements:
Ability to respond effectively to site emergencies.
Basic knowledge of carpentry, and general repair and maintenanceduties. Ability to prioritize responsibilities. Ability to get tothe site in a timely manner to respond to emergencies. Ability toutilize basic computer skills and use First Realty computerprograms. Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately.
Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and residents.
Ability to follow directions. Ability to safely operate powertools, such as saws and drills. Must pass a pre-employment physicalbefore the start of work.
