•Our client is a large General Contractor who handles many large scale projects throughout the country with a larger presence in NC SC VA and GA. All projects are high level and high value. We are seeking two positions for highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to service there is one position available in Moncks Corner & another in Northern VA areas. We are looking for candidates who have Electrical experience to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety regulations. Responsibilities Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera to track project progress and manage resources effectively. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to guide project execution. Prepare and review construction estimates using tools like HeavyBid for accurate budgeting. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Resolve any issues that arise on the construction site promptly and effectively. Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction management practices, including estimating, scheduling, and resource allocation. Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera, HeavyBid, or Prolog is highly desirable. Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to understand complex architectural plans. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse groups of workers on-site. Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
