Construction Project Manager 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Charleston, SC 29401 Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is looking for a Commercial Project Manager for our client in North Charleston, SC. Superintendents are responsible for directing on-site project workflow to ensure alignment with the project schedule and the company’s safety and quality standards. In collaboration with the project management team, the Superintendent aligns project objectives with the goals of both the company and its customers, striving for operational excellence. This role also involves overseeing subcontractors, effectively communicating project priorities, and serving as the primary on-site leader. Responsibilities Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, subcontractors, security, etc. Study, evaluate, and interpret construction drawings with accuracy. Coordinate work of multiple subcontractors to maintain proper sequence, schedule, and quality. Work with project team to coordinate materials deliveries to job site. Plan and ensure all work performed complies with drawings, specifications, and project schedule. Ensure the most current contract documents are always being used. Ensure proper site signage is displayed at all times. Maintain and enforce a quality workmanship program with all subcontractors. Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement corrective actions as required. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel. Maintain a daily log of all activities and site conditions. Understand the use of a computer in the management of the paperwork on the project. Ensure cleanliness of job site at all times. Collaborate with Project Manager daily through various methods of communication. Assume additional responsibilities and assignments per supervisor’s direction. Requirements 3 to 5 years of commercial construction experience. Technology savvy – Procore, Zoom, Gmail, Apple products. Ability to work with tools and properly care for them. Ability to juggle multiple knowledge disciplines at the same time. Experience in leadership positions. Ability to work independently. Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel – must have own vehicle. The estimated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 – $120,000 though a candidate’s salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
