The MEP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects. This role involves ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while effectively managing client and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage MEP projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate MEP design and installation with other trades and contractors.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
Perform risk management and develop mitigation strategies.
Facilitate communication among project stakeholders and team members.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
Manage changes in project scope and ensure proper documentation.
Implement quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in MEP construction projects.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with agile project management methodologies is a plus.
Experience in stakeholder management and client relations.
Strong skills in budgeting and financial management.
Knowledge of risk management and change management processes.
