Johns Island (with travel to Kiawah Island & Seabrook Island)

Overview:

We are a growing high-end custom home builder with a decades-long reputation for quality. We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee new build and renovation projects, working directly with Project Managers, Design Teams, and Subcontractors to maintain our high standards.

Responsibilities:

Supervise subcontractors to ensure work complies with blueprints and construction documents. Conduct regular site inspections, verify measurements, and enforce strict safety protocols. Analyze blueprints and project documents to ensure design and budget specifications are met. Assist in project planning, scheduling, material procurement, and equipment rental. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and the design team during pre-construction and progress meetings. Maintain detailed daily logs and documentation using BuilderTrend. Address any delays or issues promptly to keep projects on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience leading custom home building job sites. Proficiency in reading blueprints, architectural specifications, and project management software. In-depth knowledge of high-end residential construction methods, building codes, and scheduling practices. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills; carpentry skills are a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on uneven terrain, and perform tasks that involve bending, squatting, and climbing stairs. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
