Job Description:
The Custom Home Construction Superintendent will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of custom home construction projects. This position is ideal for a professional with a passion for luxury home building and a strong background in residential construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of custom home construction projects from inception to completion
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel
Ensure compliance with building codes, plans, and specifications
Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of project milestones
Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
Prepare and submit progress reports to the project manager and clients
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction, with a focus on custom homes
Proven ability to manage high-end custom home construction projects successfully
Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Proficiency in construction management software and tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
