Job Description
Position SummaryLuxe Builders is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Superintendent to support the on-site management of residential construction projects. This entry-level position is ideal for someone early in their construction career who is eager to learn project supervision from the ground up. The Junior Superintendent will assist with daily operations on job sites and ensure projects progress according to Luxes standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Assist with daily management of job sites and residential communities. Support the Project Superintendent/Owner with scheduling, vendor coordination, and tracking of key project milestones Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure work is being completed on time and aligns with project specifications and quality standards Participate in internal inspections as part of Luxe Builders Quality Assurance Process. Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant worksite, adhering to all OSHA, State, and Federal Safety regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned to support project successPhysical Demands Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Travel Minimum travel is required and is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years in residential construction industry Drivers license and reliable transportation required.
Preferred Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in Construction Science or other related study preferred. Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processesRequired Skills/Abilities Strong verbal and written communication. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay organized in a fast-paced, dynamic environment High Attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise Capable of reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans. Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and compliance Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.
