The MEP Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects, particularly within data centers. This role involves ensuring that all MEP systems are installed and functioning according to project specifications and industry standards, while managing a team of contractors and subcontractors. sam.steinwand@cybercoders.com Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all MEP construction activities on-site for data center projects.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of MEP installations.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and schedules to facilitate project execution.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Manage and resolve any on-site construction issues related to MEP systems promptly.
Prepare and maintain daily reports on progress, challenges, and milestones.
Assist in scheduling and coordinating MEP work with other trades and activities on-site. Qualifications Proven experience as an MEP Superintendent in commercial construction or data center projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and installation processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with CPM scheduling and project management software is a plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
