We are seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to join our team to help manage various projects. You will be responsible for the management of plumbing projects across various avenues to include material and project schedules.

Daily Responsibilities include:

Coordinate construction schedules with General Contractor (GC) Superintendents/Representatives Understands the contract scope for each project site Comprehensive knowledge of all project documents such as all blueprint drawings (architectural, mechanical, plumbing, etc.), project specifications, schedule, scope, submittals, RFI’s etc. Management of each project so it is completed on time and on budget according to building codes, plans, and specs Manages and reviews regular project schedule updates to include material and labor budget Using GC updated project schedule, assists Job site supervisors to create weekly project goals for crew. Ensures that weekly goals are met and assists Job site supervisors with any project issues or delays. Provide coaching or assistance if / when weekly goals are not met. Creates a plan with Project Foreman to account for any delays. Back up plan should be created and effectively communicated in the event plans do not go as they should. Ensures project goals and expectations are realistic, achievable, and revised at appropriate times during the life of project Receive & review daily reports from Job site supervisors. Provide a comprehensive daily report synopsis for all sites to the Executive Manager by end of next business day. Concerns from Daily Reports should be discussed with company Senior Management & Job Site Foremen. Attend weekly GC meetings along with Job site supervisor Management of project supervisors and crew Coordination of project materials and Company tools Identify and write Change Order Requests in a timely manner ensuring that GC representative signs before commencing work, as Change Orders must be approved prior to any work being complete. Manages the Punch-list process via documentation, sign-off, organization Create Project closing documents such as: As-Builts, O&M’s, Company Warranty letters Serve as company interface between GC and Company Utilizes ALL company branded SOPs to ensure consistency amongst the team Use Company SOP on communication strategy for resolving conflicts. Reports all issues directly Company Sr. Management Responsible for maintaining current customer business Required to walk job site weekly to maintain GC relationships. Physical Labor requirements.

Must be able to:

Traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching Walk a minimum of 3 miles per day Use hands and fingers to use construction tools and other business machines Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers

Travel out-of-town to multiple project sites

Qualifications:

Possess knowledge of mechanical plans/spec and design/build industry 5+ years’ experience of Plumbing Project Management Master Plumbing License or Bachelor’s degree with Demonstrated Relevant Experience. Willingness to work towards the Master Plumbing License, if not already obtained. Effective Conflict Resolution & Communication Skills both Verbal & Written. Effective Leadership Qualities specifically with Leading Plumbing Crews Must have a clean SC Driver’s license record Strong project management skills Must have a stable background/work history to be considered for this position Must have strong computer software skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn software as needed (i.e. : PlanGrid, Procore, etc.) Strong analytical and logic skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of precision on detailed work Deadline and detail-oriented Salary will be contingent upon Experience and Knowledge of Plumbing Industry. This will be payable in accordance with the Company’s standard payroll schedule. Base salary is negotiable after 1 full year of employment.
