Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead and oversee all preconstruction efforts across a diverse portfolio of commercial, multifamily, and institutional projects. Based in Charleston, this role will play a key part in early project development, providing strategic input on budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, and client presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage estimating teams, subcontractor outreach, and bid processes across multiple sectors Collaborate with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to develop cost-effective, constructible solutions Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, schedules, and logistics plans Drive continuous improvement in preconstruction processes and tools
Qualifications:
8+ years of preconstruction or estimating experience with a general contractor Proven leadership on projects $10M-$100M+ in value Strong communication, cost modeling, and team coordination skills Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., OST, Bluebeam, Timberline, or similar)
