Job Description
We are seeking a Superintendent to oversee on-site construction operations for commercial, multifamily, institutional, and industrial projects. Based in Charleston, this role will be responsible for managing field activities, ensuring safety and quality standards, maintaining schedules, and leading subcontractor coordination to deliver projects successfully from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct day-to-day site operations, including subcontractor supervision, scheduling, and quality control Maintain strict safety standards and enforce compliance with all OSHA and company policies Work closely with Project Managers and owners to ensure alignment on project goals, milestones, and logistics Conduct site meetings, coordinate inspections, and proactively resolve field issues Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely project delivery
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience supervising ground-up or major renovation construction projects Proven success managing projects in the $10M-$75M+ range across multiple sectors Strong leadership, communication, and field coordination skills Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project)
