MAU is hiring a Utilities Superintendent for Landmark Construction in Charleston, SC. As a Utilities Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of utility installation projects on multiple construction sites, including managing crews, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with other divisions within Landmark Construction, and guaranteeing the timely completion of projects related to water, sewer, and stormwater drainage. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Required Experience
Proven experience as a Utility Superintendent or in a similar leadership role.
General Requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
Strong ability to work independently under pressure while meeting project deadlines without compromising quality.
Professional demeanor in interactions with clients, office staff, and crew members.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods as required by the role.
Essential Functions
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
Oversee daily operations of utility construction crews to ensure efficiency and compliance with project plans
Manage budgets and timelines, tracking daily labor and material costs to optimize resources
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction plans to determine project requirements
Coordinate with other trades and teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Assign tasks strategically based on crew members’ skills and experience
Train and mentor field personnel on safety protocols and best construction practices
Monitor performance and ensure crews maintain high productivity standards
Mark and measure site locations for structures and equipment using appropriate tools
Provide regular project updates to the General Superintendent and Project Manager
