Position overview: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of their assigned construction projects. Directs and supervises work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, etc. This level is capable of medium-scale projects of $50K to $5M and requires a minimum of 3 to 4 years industrial electrical experience.
Project Manager Duties Include:
Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to successfully complete a project.
Plan and organize a project under the directions of a Senior Project Manager or Division Management.
Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.
Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and area Superintendent to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budget. Project teams will range from 2 to 25 members.
Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines, and under supervision.
Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the client. Negotiate all change quotations to a conclusion.
Review any documentation prepared by Project Estimator before submission.
Manage financial aspects of the project from bid through final report
Represent the company in project meetings.

Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code Capable of learning new computer programs related to position
Proficient in Microsoft office suite Customer focused 3 years or more of experience in the industrial electrical construction industry
A degree in Construction Management or Project Management or equivalent experience. —–
