With a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency , our client is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent. The Opportunity As a Senior Superintendent , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily field operations , ensuring projects are executed according to schedule, budget, and quality standards. This position requires a proactive leader with expertise in managing large-scale construction projects, coordinating with subcontractors, and driving successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight & Execution Lead the on-site construction team , ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Develop and implement site logistics plans , project schedules, and work sequencing strategies. Coordinate and oversee all field activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contract requirements. Safety & Quality Management Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular job site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and compliance. Ensure adherence to industry best practices and company quality control standards. Schedule & Coordination Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain and adjust project schedules. Identify and mitigate potential delays , proactively resolving challenges to keep the project on track. Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring work is completed per plans and specifications. Communication & Leadership Serve as the primary field representative, liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors . Conduct daily huddles and weekly site meetings to review progress, safety, and upcoming milestones. Mentor and develop junior superintendents and field staff , fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Resource & Budget Management Manage and optimize labor, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and control costs. Collaborate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely material deliveries . Assist in change order management , ensuring proper documentation and budget tracking. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, with a track record of managing large-scale projects. Strong expertise in construction sequencing, site logistics, and subcontractor coordination . Experience with ground-up, renovation, and fast-track construction projects . In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety compliance, and quality control standards . Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or other construction management software .
