The Superintendent will oversee construction projects with a focus on retail spaces, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the project. Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise construction projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and labor resources.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
Review and approve work completed by subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare regular reports on project status, issues, and solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in the retail construction sector.
Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
