Job Description
Construction Superintendent 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 3297 Argent Boulevard, Ridgeland, SC 29936 The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the home construction of assigned McGuinn Homes, Inc. This position is the primary connection to all sub-contractors on their assigned sites and responsible to deliver “McGuinn Goal Seal” homes to our customers.
Essential Duties:
Utilize Mark Systems (MS) to ensure schedules are accurately updated and checklists are completed. Ensure POs are reviewed and approved consistently. Ensure McGuinn production personnel and trade partners are following OSHA and HAZCOM safety requirements. Ensure adherence to all SOPs as established by McGuinn Homes to include safety precautions. Complete Quality Inspection’s prior to orientation to ensure the delivery of a quality home. Other duties assigned.

Observes safety and security procedures set by McGuinn Homes. Maintain McGuinn’s attendance and punctuality standards. Ability to communicate professionally with customers, employees and trade partners. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Capacity to navigate schedules, emails, payment by using technology daily. Computer and technical skills. Ability to embody McGuinn Homes core values.
Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred. 5-7 years of residential construction experience.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing ust be able to lift up to 50 pounds Be able to sit, stand, stoop, climb, kneel for extended periods of time throughout the day Exposure to loud noises, outside weather conditions, fumes, chemicals
