This involves coordinating with various stakeholders to complete necessary documentation, permits, and construction closeouts to officially close out the project. Key responsibilities of a Land Development Close Specialist may include: Document review and management: Carefully reviewing all permits, surveys, and construction documents to identify any discrepancies or outstanding issues before closing out the project.
Compliance checks:
Confirming that all construction has adhered to local zoning regulations, environmental laws, and other relevant ordinances.
Close Out Coordination:
Scheduling close out dates, coordinating with governing agencies to include municipality, DES, and SCDOT to ensure all parties are prepared for the final close out.
Construction closeout:
Working with the construction team to finalize all outstanding construction items, including punch lists and final inspections.
Required skills and qualifications:
Deep understanding of land development processes: Thorough knowledge of the various stages of land development, including zoning, permitting, surveying, and construction.
Legal and regulatory expertise:
Familiarity with local real estate laws, environmental regulations, and land use ordinances.
