Construction Site Manager columbia architectural woodworking West Columbia, SC 29169 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our construction site environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of skilled workers, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule. The Shop Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on the construction site. Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks. Utilize software tools such as ProCore and Primavera for project management and scheduling. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards at all times. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety protocols. Provide training and guidance to team members on the use of tools, including Ohmmeters and other equipment. Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets using HeavyBid software. Address any issues that arise during construction, facilitating effective communication among team members. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress. Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is essential. Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is preferred. Proficiency in project management software such as ProCore, Primavera, and HeavyBid is advantageous. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety practices in a construction environment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Experience in project scheduling and resource management is highly desirable.
